Try This!

Fettuccini Carbonara

  • 25ml olive oil
  • 4 cloves shallots, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 yellow onion, minced
  • 1 packet of fettucini pasta(450g)
  • 445g ham or bacon
  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 120g cream
  • 60g Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp pepper

  • Boil some water in Maxim DUTCH OVEN, add salt. When the water is boiling, add the fettuccini into the water and cook until al dente ( 10 minutes.) Drain when done.
  • In a clean bowl, mix 3 egg yolks, cream and pepper together.
  • Heat some of the olive oil on MAXIM HAPPYCOOK. Cook the bacon or ham until they are dry. Drain oil from bacon when done and cut them into little pieces.
  • Heat the butter on MAXIM HAPPYCOOK. Stir fry garlic, shallots and yellow onion until fragrant.
  • Add the bacons and fettuccini into MAXIM HAPPYCOOK. Stir to mix well.
  • Add the egg yolk mixture in and flip the MAXIM HAPPYCOOK a few times and leaving each side of pan on top of stove for a few minutes.
